Tonight was the first night of "The Big Cleanup" in Clondalkin Village and well done to all those Traders and Locals who turned out to help.

The Big Cleanup will continue next Tuesday and Clondalkin Chamber of Commerce are looking for your help to clean- up our village during April. Every Tuesday we are continuing the big clean-up from 6pm. – 9pm. We're still hoping to get as many traders, clubs and interested locals out in the village to remove the litter, weeds etc. from the streets and car parks in our town.

We are also looking for all the cable ties to be removed from the poles and lamp posts. We have contacted the candidates from the recent election to send their poster crews to help with this.

We know these are difficult times for everybody but it is in all our interests to present our area better to our visitors, shoppers and ourselves. We have a great village and there is no point wasting time waiting for others to clean it up, please come out and help and let’s show Clondalkin at its best.
